One of Canada’s true pioneers of three-day eventing, Robin Hahn is a multiple Olympian and Pan American Games team member. Robin Hahn went on to represent Canada at the Olympics three times, competing at Mexico (1968), Munich (1972) and Montreal (1976), and the 1982 World Championships in Lemuhlen in the three-day-event. He was the highest placed Canadian at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, finishing ninth individually. In a career which has spanned more than 50 years he has produced a host of horses to Olympic and World Championship level.
Robin has dedicated his life to the pursuit of the highest reaches of excellence, whether it is as a rider, teacher, trainer, volunteer or event organizer. A Level III eventing/show jumping coach, he helped to create what has become Canada’s coaching certification program. He has also been a director and zone chairman of the National Equestrian Federation of Canada, and a FEI judge.
Robin is renowned for his calm, quiet approach and ability to train riders of all levels from pony club to advanced. He takes great interest in teaching all levels of horses and riders; the green horse/rider get just as an enthusiastic lesson as the intermediate horse/rider. All skill levels of riding are welcome to register for the clinics: from green/young horse and/or green rider to advanced. Participants will be placed in groups according to skill level.
Each participant receives one and a half hour lessons over three days in groups of four. First day is flatwork with gymnastics. Second day is more advanced gymnastics building on the first day. Third day is course work. Riders can sign up for one clinic or multiple. The clinics do build on each other, and you will see the amazing progression with each clinic.
